Getting around.
Scooters and bicycles are available for hire from most resorts. The island is served by a cheap, reliable bus network. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.
Driving directions.
From the airport, follow the signs for the FV-2 at the roundabout located at the airport exit.
Take the first exit (right turn) off the roundabout and follow the signs for FV-02 and filter onto the motorway.
After a short distance, exit the motorway to the right, following the signs for Antigua, La Oliva & Corralejo.
Follow signs to Antigua and La Oliva, entering the ring road which circles inland to bypass Puerto del Rosario.
Carry straight on, following signs for La Oliva.
At the signpost for Puerto del Rosario and La Oliva to the right, and to Corralejo straight on, continue straight and come to a roundabout with a petrol station.
Go straight on at this roundabout and join the FV- 1 which heads to Corralejo.
Pass welcome signs and carry straight over the Parque Holandes roundabout.
Pass La Montana Roja on the left and come into the Las Dunas nature reserve.
Approaching Corralejo, turn right at the first roundabout onto Avenida Fuerteventura.
At the second roundabout take the second right onto Avenida Gran Canaria.
The hotel is on the right-hand side, on the corner of Calle El Velero.
