The modern City SM Hotel opened in 1989 and is situated in a leafy suburb of Krakow, four kilometres from the historic centre and 15 kilometres from the airport. The 35 guestrooms are spread over three floors and have décor in neutral colours with light wooden furnishings. All guestrooms include satellite television, telephones, Internet connections, complimentary bottled water and bathrooms with showers.
At the City Restaurant, guests can enjoy traditional Polish dishes as well as international specialities in an airy dining room with decor in a traditional style. The garden café and grill bar is open for drinks and snacks, and room service is on offer between certain hours. A meeting room suitable for up to 70 people is available and features audio-visual equipment. Those arriving by car will find complimentary garage parking, and multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist guests and advise on local amenities and attractions. Guests can visit the 16th century Wawel Castle and the historic Jewish district of Krakow, both four kilometres away. Krakow Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
