Getting around.
Bologna is mostly pedestrianised and is compact, with many sights within walking distance of each other. An efficient bus system serves the city. Driving is not recommended in the city centre, and it can be difficult to find parking.
Driving directions. From Padua, exit at Bologna Interporto. After the pay-toll turn right. At the first road crossing head in the direction of Bologna or Centergross. Go straight ahead for two kilometres. At the roundabout go straight on and follow the road for 1.5 kilometres. Turn left into hotel's road. From Milan, from Florence or from Ancona get onto the Bologna ring road and exit at n.6 (Castel Maggiore). From there follow the signs to the hotel.
