The S-Bahn commuter trains run between terminal 1 and Stuttgart's central train station (Hauptbahnhof). Trains S-2 and S-3 leave every 10-20 minutes for the city centre. The journey time is about 25 minutes, and the fare is 3 EUR. Buses regularly leave from outside arrivals. Taxis wait in front of terminals 1 and 3, and cost around 25 EUR to the city centre.
