Situated in the centre of Val Thorens, Europe's highest resort, Résidence le Silveralp is in a rural, mountainous location with direct access to the slopes and shopping facilities. The residence's simply furnished apartments all include balconies, private bathrooms and kitchenettes equipped with hot plates, fridges, ovens and coffee machines. Televisions and bedding are available for an extra fee. The residence caters well for groups and is conveniently situated with the ski slopes and shops on the doorstep. There is also nearby parking for which an extra fee is required. Val Thorens offers year-round skiing with 140 kilometres of marked runs. It is also located at the top of the 'Three Valleys', one of the largest ski areas in the world, with 600 kilometres of pistes and 200 ski lifts. The village also has a snow park, six-kilometre toboggan run, ice skating, swimming pool, tennis courts and a ski area reserved for children. After a day's downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding or snowmobiling, guests can ski directly into the village and visit the numerous bars, cafes and restaurants for some well earned après ski. The nearest train station 37 kilometres away in Moûtiers. Geneva airport is 159 kilometres away with an approximate driving time to the resort of 160 minutes.

Driving Directions : Geneva railway station is 300 metres from the Departures and Arrivals floors. Aero Ski Bus provides services from Geneva International Airport to many of the French ski stations. A shuttle service runs from Moûtiers railway station to the resort.
